We cordially invite everyone to join us during our 40 days of fasting and consecration. We begin consecration during the Lent Season to remind ourselves of our Savior's great sacrifice. We remember His unfailing love for us as He suffered and died on Calvary's Cross.
We each decide what we want to sacrifice during these 40 days. Some have given up TV, FaceBook, Games, Food, etc. We turn our attention away from those things that can be distracting and focus on Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. I'm convinced we take His sacrifice for granted more often than we'd like to admit.
We will begin on Wednesday, February 14, through Saturday, March 30, 2024. Sundays are not included. You can use that day to reflect on what you’ve read. As usual, our daily readings are from the Old and New Testaments. Prayer, of course, is essential!
